Warm as Toast

Quality LED lighting can be hidden in plain sight.

Manufacturers have finally gotten the word that people want a warmer quality of light in residential and hospitality applications- light that more closely resembles the incandescent light we have been used to all our lives. Many manufacturers are now making lamps in warmer tones- a welcome development. Companies like Green Creative, based in Burlingame, CA, now offer lamps in a 2400K version which reads as the color of dimmed incandescents. Other companies are producing lamps that can feature "warm dimming"- a new product line from Satco, for instance dims from 2700K down to 2200K. Finally we're getting some "glow for show."
