The dining room is the "main event" in a home. In many homes they have been transformed into spaces with multiple uses, accommodating homeowners needs for larger, more flexible spaces. Tables are now more adjustable, meals more informal, and people want more options in dining and entertaining. Consequently, homeowners now want more options in lighting- more adjustable, and energy efficient as well. And designers have had to re-think the use of chandeliers.
