Course Description:
This seminar is geared specifically to interior design students and designers who are considering opening their own design firms. Participants will get inside information that is not taught in school. Fifty professional interior designers were asked to share their secrets to creating a successful business and what they would have liked to have known before opening their doors.
Participants will gain a working knowledge of business principals and how to self promote. They will learn how a strong emphasis on listening to their clients can help designer deal with the psychological side of design. Above all, this seminar will show how good basic business decisions can be crucial to running a company. Even the most innovative enterprise can be ruined without common sense planning.
