The idea of outdoor rooms has become very
popular in recent years. This hot tub area,
located off the back deck of this San Francisco
residence, invites guests to feel a sense of
quiet relaxation. As guests wander through the
garden, the pathway is illuminated by a
combination of ground-mounted uplights and
downlights that are mounted inside the upper
branches of the taller trees. Other
architectural pieces are discovered along the
pathways including this stone window and basin.

Subtle fiber optic lighting by Lucifer Lighting subtly under-lights the bubbling jets below the water line. In the background a recessed adjustable fixture by Juno illuminates a framed African piece.
