Randall Whitehead Lighting Solutions is dedicated to design and sharing knowledge about residential lighting. Drawing upon the extensive body of work of renowned author and lighting designer Randall Whitehead, we develop content across the full spectrum of media: internet, books, television shows, videos, magazine articles, educational materials, and seminars. We assist manufacturers and retailers in the home improvement market with sponsorship and promotion of lighting related products, and we conduct customer research on the lighting and home improvement industries. And we continue to provide design services for a select group of discerning clients.

RWLS was founded on the premise that lighting is for people. That may seem obvious, but interior designers, architects, and homeowners tend to think of spaces, art, and objects rather than people as the natural subjects for illumination. We propose that while objects and environemtns are important, human beings themselves are the most important subjects. Good lighting makes us look and feel better, and allows us to enjoy our environments more and to lead more productive lives.

Residential lighting provides a largely undiscovered treasure trove of material and information for the homeowner and it integrates perfectly with interior design, art, and architecture.
